Story of Ait Ben Haddou and Ouarzazate
Ouarzazate, known as the "Gateway to the Desert", has been a strategic hub in trade between southern Morocco and the rest of the country. The city is famous for its impressive kasbahs, such as Ait Ben Haddou, which has been the setting for numerous films, including Gladiator and Game of Thrones. Ait Ben Haddou, an ancient ksar built of mud, is an excellent example of traditional desert architecture and has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

We arrive at Ait Ben Haddou, one of the most impressive ksar (fortified city) in Morocco, famous for its traditional clay architecture. You can walk through its narrow streets and admire the panoramic views from the top of the hill.
After your visit to Ait Ben Haddou, you'll head to Ouarzazate, known as the 'Gateway to the Desert'. Visit the famous Atlas Studios, the film studio where films like *Gladiator * and * Lawrence of Arabia* were filmed. You'll also have free time to explore the city before returning to Marrakech.
