Tour Plan
We start our adventure early in the morning, leaving Marrakech around 8:00 a.m. On the way to Merzouga, we enjoy the breathtaking views of the High Atlas, with stops at viewpoints such as Tizi n'Tichka, where we can capture the beauty of the mountainous landscape. At noon, stop at Ait Ben Haddou for a delicious lunch at a local restaurant, savouring Moroccan cuisine. After replenishing our energy, we continue towards Merzouga, arriving in the afternoon. Once in Merzouga, take an exciting camel ride through the dunes. As night falls, we head to a desert camp, where we'll enjoy a traditional Berber dinner, accompanied by music and dancing under a starry sky.
We start the day with a typical breakfast at the camp, before exploring the surroundings of Merzouga. We visit local markets, where we can appreciate the daily life of the Berbers and learn about their rich culture. We will also be able to see the famous "Timbuktu" sign, which symbolizes the historical connection of this region with trade. After lunch at a local restaurant, we'll head back to Marrakech. Along the way, we once again enjoy views of the desert and mountain scenery. Finally, we arrive in Marrakech in the afternoon, completing our exciting two-day getaway to Merzouga.
